Our Story

In April 2020, the world dimmed a little when our beloved Emily Irene, a radiant daughter and sister, received her angelic wings far too soon. Gregg, Cath, AJ, and Ashley stood together in a haze of disbelief, grappling with a profound grief that felt as if time had paused. The initial shock of losing Emily sliced through us, leaving a gaping hole in our hearts. Emily's bright spirit was tragically silenced when she unknowingly ingested what she believed to be a Percocet. This simple act turned into a harrowing nightmare, as the pill was a counterfeit containing fentanyl. In an instant, it took away the life of a beautiful soul and left us with memories tinged with sorrow. Now, she watches over us, wrapped in the grace of angel wings, a constant reminder of her laughter and love. We feel a profound responsibility to share Emily's story in the wake of this loss. We must be vigilant and raise awareness about the devastating dangers of counterfeit drugs. While we cannot bring Emily back, we can fight to ensure that no other family has to experience the pain of losing a loved one in such a senseless way. Let us stand strong, united in our mission to educate others, and honor Emily's memory by promoting safety and awareness in our communities.We strive to illuminate the path for future generations, empowering them to navigate a world often overshadowed by the dangers of fentanyl and the distractions of social media. Our mission is to spread vital awareness about the perils of counterfeit substances while encouraging youth to discover their true purpose. Our flags stand as a poignant tribute to those lost to the devastating impact of fentanyl poisoning, transforming grief into a powerful visual statement of hope and resilience. Through this initiative, we aim not only to honor the memories of those who have suffered but also to foster understanding and compassion within our community. By inviting shared experiences, we break down stigma and encourage open conversations about the realities of substance use. Each flag symbolizes our unwavering commitment to guiding those in distress and reminds us all to 'Be The Light' in the fight against the perilous threats of illicit drugs. Together, we create a supportive space for mourning and learning, reinforcing that no one is truly immune to the risks of overdose and accidental fentanyl poisoning.

How do we save lives? Have honest “real” conversations surrounding fentanyl and letting everyone know "YOU MATTER" We share our message and create awareness for schools, youth organizations, community resources, parent groups, police departments and all  organizations. Fentanyl is taking the lives of  everyone and  this may be the first introduction to illicit drugs. Substance use comes with red flags, but with how easy it is to purchase "fake pills"  and substance that contains fentanyl on social media, in public and other means there are no red flags. So it could be the very first time your loved one uses an illicit drug. LISTEN to our VOICES. You don't have to have the disease of addiction to die from fentanyl poisoning. We are fighting to SAVE LIVES. We would be honored to talk to your organization about this epidemic and create awareness.
